‘Tis the season for giving. But for families in need, this season means added stress and unwelcome reminders of the dollar amount in their bank account. To bring the joy and festivity back into the hearts of all families, The Camdenton Rotary Club raises money to shop for and deliver presents to special families in the community.
This is an annual tradition for the Rotary Club and the first year McGrath Insurance Group has teamed up to help.
The Family in Need
It’s not easy to select which family should receive these gifts. Some families don’t want to come forward and ask for help.
An employee in the McGrath Insurance Group office made the search a little easier. This employee reached out to the Rotary Club with a specific family who needed help this Christmas.
The family has two kids who are 13 and 11 years old. The parents gave their wish list to the McGrath Insurance Group team of elves. After receiving the money the Rotary Club raised, the team of gift givers will hit the stores to shop for everyone and everything on the list. Then, these elves will head back to their workshop to wrap and deliver the presents to the family.
